Jay R, born Gaudencio Sillona III, is a Filipino-American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and model. He released his debut album, Gameface, in 2003, which was certified platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. Jay R and his partner Kyla, known as "JayLa," are known as the R&B Royalties. In 2006, he built a recording studio and label, JAYRS Music, later renamed Homeworkz Records. He released a Christmas album, Christmas Away from Home, and a cover album, Soul in Love. He is part of TV musical variety show Party Pilipinas and hosts the Philippine adaptation of Take Me Out.
