Ana Karylle Padilla Tatlonghari-Yuzon is a Filipino singer, actress, television presenter, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Born in Manila, she gained fame after playing Sanggre Alena in the drama fantasy series Encantadia. She later appeared in the blockbuster film Moments of Love. Karylle returned to stage with Cat in the Hat and West Side Story, and later appeared in television shows like Nasaan Ka Maruja? and Dahil May Isang Ikaw. She also appeared in international productions and stage productions. Karylle has released six studio albums since 2001, including platinum-sellers Time for Letting Go and Time to Shine. Her musical work has earned her nominations from Asian Television Awards, Awit Awards, and Star Awards for Music. Karylle is also involved in supporting the Philippine Animal Welfare Society and charity organizations like White Cross Orphanage and ChildHaus.
