Kris Lawrence, born in Los Angeles in 1982, is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter and occasional actor with dual American and Filipino citizenship. He gained fame with Jay-R's First Impression group before winning Search for the Star in a Million. Lawrence signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network in 2010 and signed to GMA Records in 2012. His debut album, Moments of Love, was released in 2006, followed by Spread the Love in 2013 and Most Requested Playlist in 2015.
