Noel Gadiano Cabangon is a Filipino folk singer and composer known for composing socially-relevant songs. Born in Rosario, La Union, he began his musical career at ten and formed the group Buklod in 1987. They produced three albums and wrote songs about environment, human rights, and politics. After the group disbanded, Cabangon recorded six solo albums, performed solo, composed songs for movies, and entered the theater industry. He wrote a book and co-authored Ako'y Isang Mabuting Pilipino.
