Rico J. Puno, a Filipino singer, television host, actor, comedian, and politician, was a music icon in the Philippines. He incorporated Tagalog lyrics in his renditions of American songs and was known for his tongue-in-cheek comedy. Puno hosted Pilipinas Win na Win and Happy Yipee Yehey!, and was elected as the city councilor of Makati in 1998 and 2016 under the United Nationalist Alliance.
