Julie Iris Fernandez-Lim, also known as "Juris," is a Filipino singer and songwriter who was the lead singer of the acoustic group MYMP from 2001 to 2009. She left the group in 2009 due to "irreconcilable differences" and signed with Star Music as a solo artist. Fernandez was born in Davao City, Philippines, and studied at Miriam College in Manila. She started her recording career as the lead vocalist of MYMP, signed to Ivory Records with Chin Alcantara and Mike Manahan. The trio established the beachhead for M.Y.M.P.'s frontal assault on sales and radio charts. They released two more albums, Beyond Acoustic and Versions, which were certified Gold.
